Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation Engineer

Fine Tune is searching for a Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and usability of our software. This position offers an opportunity to shape our QA processes and contribute to a growing team. This salaried, remote role requires residency in the Eastern or Central time zones.

Responsibilities
  • Stay current on new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Perform comprehensive end-to-end testing (functional, regression, integration, etc.)
  • Conduct manual testing of features and implement automated test coverage
  • Create and maintain test plans and ensure clear acceptance criteria for user stories
  • Create detailed test plans and document test scenarios and defects
Desired Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or at least one year of QA testing experience
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proactive and self-directed attitude with a commitment to learning
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
  • Knowledge of Test Management Software (Playwright), Project Management tools (Jira, Monday.com), Design & Prototyping tools (Figma, Visio), and Screen Capture/Recording tools (Snagit, Camtasia)
